Gunther is one of the many members of the world renowned Gatling family. Being the Grandson of the hero turned member of the Boss Gauntlet, MISHA. Gunther has long since struggled to keep up with the expectations placed on him by his family. Every single member of the Gatling family has shown great proficiency with a minigun, and like his younger cousins, he started working on his skills from an early age. But all these years later, Gunther still found himself struggling more than his peers at trying to control his minigun. This became such a common issue, that those around him often referred to the potential he had within him yet never seemed to actually tap into. Firing ceaselessly, attempting to hit his targets, Gunther's minigun never quite seemed to aim where he wanted it to, and often found himself firing straight into the nearest wall.
Even though he struggles immensely with controlling the very thing he was trained to control, Gunther still finds it within himself to remain a fairly happy individual all things considered. He's always looked at himself as a sort of egg, just waiting to hatch and show off the true abilities of Gunther Gatling. Yet years would pass and the stress from his lack of ability began to affect him more and more. Not wanting to become the disappointment of the Gatling family, Gunther impulsively left his home one day, and decided to sign up for a brand new battle Arena that was looking for its first batch of competitors. In doing so, he met a woman named Flikki, who he would go on to admire greatly, particularly because of her skills with her rifle. He longed for the day in which he could have even a fraction of her skill. Because of this, Gunther decided to ask Flikki if she would be his mentor, and show him how to truly aim a gun. Despite her best efforts, most of the practicing they would do would result in no real change in his abilities. No matter what they tried, it would seem that they could not figure out what the issue was. So eventually, they both resigned themselves to whatever would come next, knowing that Gunther was seemingly never going to be able to handle the power of his family name. But one day, everything changed for Gunther.
The Boss Gauntlet was announced, and with it, came a new addition to the Arena, that being the still living Grandfather of Gunther, MISHA. Who cares a great deal for his Grandson, and was quite excited to see him. Almost instantly however, Gunther broke down, and emotions overwhelmed him as he tried explaining to MISHA that he just couldn't do it, he didn't know why, but nothing was working and he simply couldn't figure out how to be the person he knew he should be. MISHA heard this, and yet, didn't look too concerned. He backed away from Gunther and held a series of different fingers up, asking him to tell him how many he was showing. Gunther would get each one wrong completely. Within minutes, MISHA used his profound knowledge of crafting to make a brand new pair of ballistic glasses that would allow Gunther to see the world clearly. Once more, Gunther was overwhelmed, never realizing that his world was always so blurred by his own vision. He embraced his grandfather and thanked him profusely, and would later go on to defeat him alongside his team, Target Practice. Earning immense respect from MISHA.
Gunther's minigun fires bullets dealing 4 damage each, starting slow and building to a much faster rate before overheating. After a 4 second cooldown it can fire again. Thanks to a pair of glasses from his grandfather MISHA, Gunther can now aim his minigun, slowly but surely.
