Tony is a wrecking ball enthusiast. He loves nothing more than to show everyone his creations in the form of different kinds of wrecking balls. The Arena never actually informed Tony of any fighting. Just that there were individuals interested in seeing what his equipment could do. Naturally, as he shows off each of his wrecking balls, they are promptly destroyed by the teams trying to survive against them. This angers Tony greatly, and he flies into a blind rage whenever people destroy his property. He has quite a big bark but little bite; as for all the rage inside him, there is still one undeniable fact. He is small. He doesn't let that stop him from making a huge impact with his demolition abilities though. Anyone that has ever had something to say about Tony's size typically also had something to say about not wanting to be crushed by a giant wrecking ball.
At one point, Tony was the first candidate to join Bates' Construction Crew many years ago. The arrangement worked quite well when before long, Tony would become too enthralled with using the wrecking ball, and in the cover of night, he took the crew's only wrecking ball and was never seen or heard from again until now. The Arena, utilizing its state of the art background checking technology, were able to find Tony as a suitable individual to place into the Boss Gauntlet, through careful consideration and review of Bates' personal file in particular. After we were informed of Tony's existence through Bates' Daughter Cate, who works for the Arena. She recalled her father once telling her stories of a "crazed lunatic with the wrecking ball", and the Arena felt quite compelled to contact him.
Tony himself confirms that he has spent the years since disappearing working on three brand new wrecking balls based on the first one he stole, that he is more than happy to show off. He only asked of course for the Arena to ensure that no one from the staff interfered with his demos. The request was accepted, seeing how the Arena does not consider its combatants as staff directly, despite the accommodations and payments they do receive. After the battles, he will often complain of his wrecking balls being destroyed repeatedly to which officials will simply state that they cannot control the actions of those outside the staff who don't appreciate his work. Tony then launches into a string of profanities and mean words.
Tony faced scores of teams, and each put up a valiant fight against Tony, eventually they all left him defeated. He however felt the exact opposite. He took the entire thing as a learning experience, and has consequently decided to leave the Arena for now. Tony has told us that he plans to create more wrecking balls, having taken many notes from his battles here at the Arena. Some questionable looking blueprints were left behind in Tony's room that detail early plans for wrecking balls that can grab other things and slam them to the ground, wrecking balls that can disrupt the flow of time, among all kinds of other different wrecking balls. Just before leaving, Tony approached Bates, and apologized for stealing the original wrecking ball, but just afterward, said he was in fact not sorry for making more wrecking balls and doing what he does best. Wrecking things. Bates would roll his eyes at this, where upon a giant wrecking ball swung in just barely missing Bates, knocking into Tony, sending him flying far away at a very fast speed. Bates looked up and saw nothing there, leaving him confused as to how or why that just happened.
The largest of Tony's Wrecking Balls, this melee ball has four buzz saws attached to wooden planks sticking out in four directions. Every 0.25 seconds a ball is touching the saws, it does 4 damage per hit.
The second of Tony's Wrecking Balls, the ranged ball has two shotguns, three snipers and two cannons attached to it all firing at different times. Each of these ranged weapons does reduced damage compared to their original counterparts.
The third of Tony's Wrecking Balls, the unarmed ball starts at doing 12 damage on contact and increases up to 30 damage, scaling upward as its HP decreases.
