Hello everyone! I'm Yancy Fi. But some call me Y. Fi. Thank you for taking the time to stop by!

I'm an engineer, working alone in space orbiting in a small station just above the planet. I enjoy social interaction but I'm just not that fond of actually being there in person. I make up for that by deploying what I like to call a "Vessel". Which allows me to interact with people like I'm there while not being there at all! The distance from here to down there though is pretty big but I am absolutely certain the connection is perfectly fine. No doubt about it. I made sure to invest only in the best internet plan possible. I would not be very happy if that connection wasn't solid as it's pretty important. My job consists of studying different types of plants and even certain animals up here in my station, doing so for my own home planet. I've learned quite a great bit about this place below me though. Gravity isn't a thing to worry about around here either, so seeing the effects of zero gravity on anything can prove to be quite enlightening. Being up here is quite fun, but at times it can also be isolating and even downright unnerving after some of my more recent experiences, especially after the latest situation I found myself in.

Sometimes while I sit and look down at the planet below, I'll sometimes be passed by a couple of even more alien looking creatures than I to this planet that stare at me for quite some time making a bunch of random noises before finally leaving. They will stare and one of them I have even seen is capable of just phasing right through my walls but for some reason, it doesn't. One of these times recently I decided to do something about it. I took my trusty vessel, and piloted it outside. The two aliens would see my vessel and get really freaked out, one of them started making some kind of hiss-like sound before pointing in the vessel's direction and spitting something at it! Whatever it was wormed its way into the internal hardware of the vessel itself before I could even do anything about it. I then watched as the two aliens began to flee as I pulled the vessel back in for inspection.

I brought my vessel back into the lab and took it apart. What I saw was quite scary, some kind of parasite looking creature that had fused itself into my vessel's motherboard. I couldn't remove it no matter how hard I tried. I even tried grabbing it with my own hand foolishly. Then the next thing I knew it suddenly began to start expanding up my arm. It even tried to work its way into my eye! But I was able to keep it from doing so just barely, when it changed course and went right into my ear, and I recall falling down onto the button intended for launching the vessel down and out of the station. After that I don't remember much, only that the next time I opened my eyes, I was in the body of the vessel I created, with my actual body left lifeless on the floor of the station. It appeared that whatever parasite thing this was, now attached itself to both the vessel and myself. But now it seems to have even transferred me directly into my vessel! Meanwhile I can see it very slowly beginning to consume my body, almost like it's trying to transform it entirely. As you could probably tell this is a bit of a big issue.

I needed to do what I could to stop this from happening, but first I needed to reach out for help somehow. Just then however, a hatch to the station quickly opened above me and I was launched out of the station and directly down to the land below. The first two people I encountered were a man holding two daggers and another man holding what looked like a roman candle of some kind. I kept trying to explain my situation to them. But for some reason they were often just staring blankly ahead like they were frozen. "Help me! Please! You have to help me! Aliens are trying to turn me into one of them! My name is Yancy, please help me!" I then watched as the two looked at me with confused expressions before one of them just wrote our names onto a list. I'm not sure what that's all about, but I'm gonna follow these guys if it means it will get me the help I need. I'm not too sure why people down below on the planet here act so strangely all of a sudden. It's as if half the time, I'm not even visible to them at all. This is all pretty frustrating, but I have to do my best with what I've got to save myself!
