Kane grew up in a turbulent environment and from an early age he set out to learn how to defend himself, and so, he joined a military group that taught him how to wield and use a double sided lance. Prior to this he spent many days running around with Paul, trying to survive in a place that wasn't kind to their existence. Constantly searching for sustenance, and shelter. The experience changed Kane heavily, and one day, Paul had awoken to find Kane gone, and they wouldn't run into each other for a long time before encountering one another at the Arena. To Paul, this presents itself as the perfect opportunity to take his revenge on Kane for abandoning him suddenly. To Kane, Paul was no more than another pair of eyes to watch their surroundings as he got what little sleep he could.
He would opportunistically decide to join the Arena once he saw Paul in battle at one point. Thinking to himself that if some low life such as him could fight in this kind of Arena, then he most certainly could. Upon his arrival he would see one of the very people who assisted him in his training, Marina. Who by now was retired, and seeking some action at this very same Arena. The two decided their knowledge and abilities together would prove formidable and they registered under the name of "The Twin Pins." Despite their expectations, they would be eliminated from the group stage with a score of one win and three losses.
While Marina was unbothered by this and just sought the thrill of battle, Kane took this performance to heart, and felt that he needed to push himself further. He would spend the downtime between seasons relentlessly training. Becoming more and more experienced with his weapon and learning how to more effectively use it. The fruit of this labor would take the form of his spinning impalement attack using his lance, resulting in any opponent on the receiving end of it being momentarily left dizzy and unable to attack.
This intense training left Kane feeling more ready than ever and when the exhibitions of Season 4 began, Kane was ready and would hold a small reign as King of the Ring before falling to Tama in battle. Someone he had an unexpected connection with in the middle of the fight, as the two took a moment to recover from exhaustion and truly locked eyes for a moment that felt like forever. Kane didn't quite understand this feeling as it is something he had never felt prior to this. He would do what he could to clear his mind of such thoughts however, as he felt such things would prove to only be distractions more than anything else, in his pursuit of greater power.
Kane utilizes a double sided Lance to pierce his enemies. The single tipped side does 9 damage on contact, while the double tipped end does 6 damage.
At fast enough speeds, the double tipped end of the lance is capable of impaling the victim, spinning them around Kane to reposition them elsewhere in the Arena. Opponents hit by this move are left dizzy and unable to attack for 4 seconds.
